Plan Your Visit
The winery & brewery at Wagner Vineyards are open daily year-round for guided wine tastings, wine flights, beer flights, and retail sales. We also have a gift shop with an impressive collection of wine & beer accessories, clothing, logo items and a bountiful selection of unique gifts.
The Ginny Lee restaurant serves lunch daily from May through October. Please check the hours page on the Ginny Lee Cafe website, or phone 607-582-6574 for the off-season schedule.
Reservations are now highly recommended for all guided wine tastings. Wine & Beer flights to be consumed on our seasonally enclosed deck or on the lawn at our picnic tables (weather permitting) are first-come-first-serve and we are not accepting reservations at this time for those. Please make sure to check out our What to Expect At Your Wine Tasting page for more information.
If you are planning your first visit to Wagner Vineyards, we like to let you know that your experience may depend a great deal on the time of year you choose to stop by.
Fall
One word – gorgeous! Finger Lakes wine tasting is extremely popular in the fall. The season peaks Labor Day through Thanksgiving with many weekend visitors throughout the region for wine tastings, foliage viewing, and glimpsing harvest activities. Weekends during the Fall are an exciting time to visit. Weekdays generally are a little slower paced than weekends, but can still be quite busy on a beautiful autumn day. Bring a sweatshirt and relax with a glass of wine on our seasonally enclosed deck, The Vantage Point, or on the lawn at our picnic tables (weather permitting) overlooking some of the most beautiful scenery in the Finger Lakes.
Winter
The parking lot is cleared and the heat is on, winter is a great time to visit! The Vantage Point will be enclosed and heated to keep you comfortable while enjoying the beautiful wintery views over a flight of beer or wine. Enjoy the region’s captivating scenery, but at a less hectic pace. Take your time tasting, exploring, shopping and visiting with the folks at Wagner Vineyards.
Spring
Also a wonderfully scenic time to visit; the views change daily as the vineyards and hillsides are erupting with fresh green growth after the winter dormancy. Weekends can be busy, but during the week it will be easier to get a guided tasting reservation or walk in to enjoy a flight of wine or beer on our seasonally enclosed deck.
Note: The Seneca Lake Wine Trail plans most of its special events for weekends in the winter & spring, when the volume of tourists has declined. Check the event listing or the Wine Trail website for special event dates & info.
Summer
There is plenty of fun available in the Finger Lakes region during the summer months. All of the area parks, restaurants, and seasonal attractions are open this time of year. We host lots of visitors, but rarely at the volume we see in the fall. Summer is a great time for a day trip to Wagner Vineyards – taste, relax, dine & shop all in one stop. We also have live entertainment on Friday evenings from Memorial Day thru Labor Day weekend and on some Sundays and during special events – be sure to check our Summer Music Series page for details.
